Late Cancellation & Non-Attendance Policy.
We do our best to help you attend or reschedule your appointments with reminder texts and emails in the days leading up to your appointment.
If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. Our practice is busy and often has limited appointments available, and we have a waitlist of patients who are seeking help. Unfortunately in cases of late cancellations or missed appointments, we are unable to contact other patients who are waiting and would be able to attend. This is not an effective use of our time and deprives others of the opportunity to engage with our service, and as such, our clinic has a non-attendance/late notice policy.
To respect our time, our policy for online consultations is that if the client has not logged on or made contact with us within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time, the clinician will log out of the session and we will consider the appointment “not attended”, & will charge our usual non-attendance fee. If you are having any issues with logging in or running late, please let us know as soon as possible so we can assist you.
Late cancellations (within 24 hours) or non-attendance without notice will attract a full appointment fee, charged using saved payment details on your account or invoiced to you directly. We understand late cancellations are sometimes unavoidable due to illness or emergency, and in cases such as this, the fee may be waived.
It is important to note even if your treatment is being paid for by a third party (e.g. DVA/Workers Compensation/CTP/Medicare), you are personally responsible for any late cancellation or non-attendance fees.
